“Kwe’! Hello Members ! We are very pleased to be able to share this Program update on behalf of our Council and Directors outlining the Program work that is being done on behalf of Natoaganeg. Much of this is above and beyond the Terms and Conditions of our Agreements of our basic funded Programing.

Many thanks are owed for the extra work required to develop and deliver initiatives that provide the extras our Members appreciate. A number are Partnerships with our fellow First Nations and others are special initiatives that our community has successfully pursued by ourselves.

It has been a number of years since we had initially approached the Province of NB requesting support for an in-Community option for long term care beds in Community and we most recently were advised that there will be a commitment and discussions to this end.

Below is a copy of the letter we have received from the Provincial Minister responsible, Lynn Chantal Boudreau, Minister of Seniors and Responsible for Women and Gender Equity. We hope to meet soon to seriously pursue these important discussions.
